Social work, I used to believe that the most students pursued career in social work due to negative childhood experiences that later encouraged them to help other people and served as a role model and encouragement to follow the same profession like in Bhutan most of the founder and leaders of the agencies I had known are the victim or the survivor of various disease. I understand that my thoughts were not necessarily true. To get integrate the knowledge and skills that we learned in classroom with actual work experience, to have better understanding, have opportunity to learn and watch, build confidence, to get feel for different agencies like building network and to improve communication skills we really hope internship would lead us to our future career as an independent and professional social worker in Bhutan.
